TERMS & CONDITIONS / REFUND POLICY
Events are being held at University of South Florida, St. Petersburg campus. This is a smoke and tobacco free campus. We must abide by their policy.
Parking on campus is not included in your registration. Parking permits may be purchased day of or here.
Included in Conference Registration Fee
1. On land and on-the-water workshops June 7-8, 2025
2. Breakfast, lunch and snacks at the post event social / fundraiser raffle. A cash bar will be available at the post event fundraiser.
3. Life jackets for those on-the-water
4. Access (no extra fee) to sailboats.
5. Access to merchandise on the website for purchase.
6. Registrants are responsible for their own travel and transportation costs to and from the Event.
**note: Registrants must be prepared for all and any kind of weather, temperatures and precipitation.
Please, check the weather and consider bringing appropriate clothing
Limits
1. Only one registration is permitted per person (email) as this is how we keep track of the registrant name and numbers of registrants per workshop.
2. The Friday June 6 and Sunday June 8th events are purchased separately from the conference registration.
Payments
1. Credit Card payments will be accepted via our Website.
Usage
1. NWSA Members must be logged into the website using their username or email and password to access the discounted prices for registration.
2. All registrants’ name and information will be part of a master list of attendees and be part of NWSA conference correspondence email and phone communications. If you no longer want to receive emails from NWSA after the conference you can unsubscribe.
3. All registrants must read the liability waiver and check the box.
Workshops
1. We cannot guarantee the availability of all workshops either due to them being sold out or being cancelled due to any reasons we deem necessary or reasons beyond our control (instructor illness, bad weather etc.)
2. Once registration payment has been confirmed you will receive a confirmation.
3. Registrants may choose only one on-the-water session.
Definitions
1. “All Levels” are open to anyone.
2. “Beginner” on-land workshops can be attend by All Levels
3. “Take The Helm” on-the-water sessions are for Beginners only
4. Other on the water sessions are indicated as to what level they are appropriate
5. Beginner means: sailors who have zero to limited time on sailboats or who have had limit4ed time on sailboats as crew, but still are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with sail trim terminology. New boat owners with no or limited understanding of the systems or how the boat sails and maneuvers under power
6. Intermediate: Have some experience on sailboats. Owns a sailboat and knows its ins and outs (NOT a new boat owner with no experience)
7. Advanced means: Has extensive experience on sailboats. Owns or has owned a sailboat and has cruised or raced extensively. Has led, skippered, navigated, captained a sailboat. Could even be a teacher at this conference!!
8. Some on-the-water classes require physical mobility. Please check your comfort level and ensure that it is appropriate for the class.
