Anne Bryant the May 2021 NWSA President’s Member of the Month, sails a 27’ Thomas Gillmer-designed wooden sloop out of Brooklin, Maine. Bryant occasionally produces a podcast, The Water Society. In general she considers herself to be a storyteller working through pictures, video and words to share her interest in boats and people on the water. She is very proud of the videos she has made for Restoring Rosalind, which is a restoration taking place in Mystic, CT.
Anne Bryant has been a part of the leadership for Women Who Sail (WWS) for about eight years. She is proud of the work done for the Facebook community of women sailors and the WWS collaborations with the National Women’s Sailing Association. You may recognize Bryant from the She Sailor Sea Story she shared, or the times she generously acted as host. Anne says, “Hosting was one of the best parts of 2020. It was fun, and a good way to get together when we couldn’t be together in person.”
Anne is looking forward to releasing series of videos in 2021 documenting her work and connections made through all of the boats and people she has come in contact with. Follow Anne Bryant on Instagram at @frompinetopalm.
Thank you and Attagirl Anne!
