The Women’s Sailing Foundation offers the Sue Corl Youth Sailing Scholarship for an enhanced sailing experience or program for a teenage girl. This year’s scholarship recipient is Maya Mahoney from Chicago, Illinois. Maya choose the Brooke Gonzalez Clinic as her choice for the scholarship. “I will attend the Brooke Gonzalez Clinic to learn about my weaknesses and strengths and continue to grow as an athlete. I plan to learn to communicate as a coach and to uphold what it means to be a positive member of the sailing community. I’m excited to be in an environment where I will be challenged.” said Mahoney. Congratulations Maya! |
